David Eric Johns brings 37 years of military leadership shaped by a childhood on a farm in rural Maryland. He earned an engineering degree from the University of Maine and completed advanced training at the Air War College. His career spans land development, software systems, urban planning, and operations command, as well as regulatory negotiation and behavioral health sciences. Since retiring in 2018, he has advised municipalities and private businesses, focusing on operational excellence and sustainable growth. In 2020, he founded Zafeiri Corporation, a firm dedicated to delivering the exceptional value every business deserves.
